Wake Up, Sleeping Beauty by Megumi Morino

OVERVIEW:

This funny and heartrending romantic manga set in modern Tokyo is not the fairy tale you remember! This time, Prince Charming is a teenage janitor, and this Sleeping Beauty's curse is a supernatural, gender-bending dream that threatens to pull them both into a deeper and deeper slumber …

REVIEW:

I typically do not like stories that revolve around the female MC being "rescued" or dependent on the male MC...despite that, I found myself really loving this story. There are several things I absolutely love about this one, one which I think is underrated is that it didn't really contain fillers, and so it won't feel sluggish to read through. This is truly one heartwarming manga with a unique and well-thought-out story line. When I started reading it I was expecting it to go to a certain direction but it completely changed its direction. It starts a bit slow but really ramps up. The art is really pretty. If you’re picky about art styles then do give this a try because I really liked it, for me being quite choosy about art styles.
